What veterinary services does Promontory Animal Hospital offer?

Veterinary services cover the routine and the urgent, from checkups and vaccinations to surgery and care at the end of life. At Promontory Animal Hospital in Chilliwack, we offer preventive care, clinical services, surgery and end-of-life care for dogs and cats of all ages, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, dental care, in-house blood work and imaging, urgent care during opening hours, soft-tissue and eye surgery, and euthanasia at the clinic or at home.

Our animal hospital services, in four groups

We have grouped our animal hospital services the way owners usually look for them: keeping a healthy pet healthy, finding out what is wrong when something changes, surgery, and care at the end of life. Each service has its own page explaining what we do, what to expect and the questions owners ask most.

Preventive care

Most of the care a pet needs happens before anything goes wrong. Dogs and cats are good at hiding illness, so regular wellness and preventive care exams are where we spot changes early.

Clinical services

When your pet is unwell, the first question is what is wrong. We run all our blood work in-house, and we have digital X-ray and ultrasound here at the clinic. Our clinical services for dogs and cats cover:

Surgery

We perform soft-tissue surgery, spay and neuter, BOAS airway surgery for flat-faced breeds, eye surgery and Caesarean sections in-house. TPLO and other orthopaedic surgery are performed at our clinic by a visiting specialist.

End-of-life care

When it is time to say goodbye, we offer both in-clinic and in-home euthanasia. Read about end-of-life care at our clinic, or about in-home pet euthanasia if you would rather your pet stayed somewhere familiar.

Before any procedure begins

You get a written estimate you approve before any procedure begins. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac debit and cash, and financing is available through iFinance. See our payment options.
