Before any procedure begins, you see a written estimate and approve it. Here is how you can pay, how pet insurance works with us, and how financing through iFinance can help.
What payment options does Promontory Animal Hospital accept?
At Promontory Animal Hospital in Chilliwack, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac debit and cash. Before any procedure begins, you approve a written estimate. We accept pet insurance. We provide the invoices and documentation you need to submit your claim. Veterinary financing is arranged through iFinance.

A written estimate before any procedure begins
We do not publish a price list, because the right care depends on your pet. Instead, in our own words: Before any testing, treatment, or procedure begins, we provide a detailed written estimate for your review and approval.
Our team is always available to walk you through your pet's care plan and answer any questions before you decide. Nothing goes ahead until you have approved it. Our new clients page explains what happens at a first visit.
Pet insurance
We accept pet insurance. We provide the invoices and documentation you need to submit your claim. You submit the claim to your insurer, who handles it under the terms of your policy.
We work with Trupanion, Petsecure, Fetch and Pets Plus Us. If your insurer is not listed, call us and ask.
Veterinary financing through iFinance
Financing options are available to help make veterinary care more affordable. Veterinary financing is arranged through iFinance, a lender, which is separate from pet insurance. Ask us about it when you receive your written estimate.
Wellness plans
A wellness plan spreads the cost of routine preventive care across the year. We do not list plan inclusions or costs online, so please contact us for current plan details. For answers to other common questions, see our vet FAQ.
Who submits my pet insurance claim?
You do. We accept pet insurance. We provide the invoices and documentation you need to submit your claim.
Which pet insurance companies do you work with?
We work with Trupanion, Petsecure, Fetch and Pets Plus Us. If you have a different insurer, call 604-991-2745 and ask.
Do you publish your prices?
No. Before any testing, treatment or procedure begins, we give you a written estimate you approve. Call 604-991-2745 to talk through your pet's care.
Is iFinance a pet insurance company?
No. iFinance is a financing provider, a lender, and separate from pet insurance. Veterinary financing is arranged through iFinance.
