Accessibility statement

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. WCAG is the international standard for making websites usable by people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboards instead of a mouse, or screen magnification.

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a box we tick once, and we will keep improving this site as we add to it.

• A "Skip to content" link, so keyboard users can jump past the menu
• Menus, questions and forms that work with a keyboard alone, and menus that tell screen readers whether they are open or closed
• A clear, visible outline around whatever link, button or field has keyboard focus
• A written label on every form field, with any error explained in words just below the field and announced to screen readers
• Text alternatives (alt text) describing the images on our pages
• Reduced movement for visitors who have asked their device to limit animation
• The page language set in the code, so screen readers read our pages with English pronunciation

Some content comes from other services. The map on our homepage and contact page is provided by Google Maps, and we cannot fully control how it behaves with assistive technology. Our address is always written out in text as well: Unit 104 – 46193 Thomas Road, Chilliwack, BC V2R 6N7.

If any part of this site does not work for you, including our waitlist or new client form, you do not have to use it. You can give us the same information by phone or email instead.

We will do our best to fix the problem and to get you the information you need in another way in the meantime. If you have a question about visiting the clinic in person, please call us before your visit.
